Does this sound like you?

I felt like an imposter when I asked people to buy my book. I didn't believe that I was ready, battle-tested, or that I had been validated with the universe's "Stamp of Approval." My Facebook posts to family and friends fell flat (apart from a few pats on the head), and I thought, "If I can't sell my book to the people closest to me, how am I going to sell this book to strangers?

Putting myself out there was terrifying. It was debilitating to see the numbers drop when I didn't have promotions going on, and it didn't seem like it was going to get better.

You're not alone.

This is a problem tons of authors face daily. I was in that boat too. I followed a bunch of "Authorpreneurs" to see how they sold books. I took courses, watched and rewatched webinars, read piles of books by marketing gurus, attended conferences, met authors struggling like me, and learned so much.

The messages started to click together, and it was like discovering bits and pieces of a giant puzzle. Things started to turn around when I understood what I was doing and why it mattered.

Does that mean that there's an "Easy" button if you just do x, y, z?

Absolutely not.

But the good news is that it's less spammy, less sleazy, and less agonizing than you think.

Marketing is just sharing the things you're really excited about. You do this all the time when you recommend movies or books to friends and family.

Sure, that's still terrifying in a way because now we're talking about marketing your book(s). But that fear doesn't need to hold you back. In fact, you've already taken a HUGE step.

You're here because you've written a book, but you're not sure how to present it to the world. Maybe you've tried a few strategies like setting up a website, social media, advertising, or reached out to friends, family, and colleagues to buy.

But you found that selling a book is a lot harder than it seems. Or have been disillusioned and worried that the work you've done is for naught. (I've been there.)

Maybe you're looking for a method that really works; a substantial strategy that continues to sell books and feels good for you too.

And that's why I do what I do. Because I love helping people learn how to lift themselves up out of the sticky mess that marketing can be.

I know you want to give your book the best chance possible. Let me help you do that.

Thanks for being here! I'm excited for you to get started.

Here's how I've helped others

Deborah Weed, Founder of the Self-Worth Initiative, LLC and Author of Paisley's Last Quill

The thought of marketing it seemed overwhelming.

The minute [Dani] entered my life, I felt relief! Dani is passionate about what she does. It felt as though she cared just as much about my success as I do. The first thing that really stood out to me was her patience. The world of social media is intimidating. Dani made everything simple. She literally walked me through the steps I needed to take to succeed. The other thing that is special about Dani is her work ethic. Once we were working with a platform that wasn’t clicking. At any time Dani could have become frustrated while suggesting that this isn’t the way to go. Instead, she kept on going until the job got done.

In my lifetime, I’ve worked with the likes of Disney and Universal consultants; visionaries and Thought Leaders who were at the top of their game. I know a winner when I meet one! If you have a book that you want to get out into the world, I would highly recommend Dani Jorgensen.
